Thank you for inquiring about an appointment to get your hair done with me! There are just a few steps to take in order to make your first appointment. I have a convenient online booking system that makes booking your appointment very simple! Before that, please click the link below to fill out the new client form. This will help me get to know you and your hair before the appointment. It also has information on my policies.

What to expect

 First, please arrive to your appointment at least five minutes early. You will find me in Headlines Salon at 311 W. Chisholm St, Alpena MI. Parking is available on the street in front of the salon and Latitude’s Bar. You may also park in the lot next to the salon, just be sure not to park in the Social Security Office’s parking area.

We will spend the first ten to fifteen minutes consulting over your expectations for the appointment. That is when we will decide on how to achieve your current and future hair goals. We can use visual aids such a swatch book and Pinterest as inspiration for your style. After we have a plan and are confident in our decision the price and process will be clear and concise.

​​If you're here for color, a formula will be custom blended for you and recorded in my system so that it's always ready and waiting at each visit.  I will have amenities available such as

Wi-Fi, various drinks, snacks, and more to keep you comfortable as your color processes.

​I will wrap up the visit by sharing my recommendations for at-home care and set you up with your next appointment.

Color and Blow-Dry/ $55+/ 1 hour 30 minutes: All over or retouch of permanent or semi-permanent color and professional styling services.

Color and Haircut/ $75+/ 1 hour 45 minutes: All over or retouch of permanent or semi-permanent color and customized haircut and professional styling services.

​

Color, Full Highlight and Blow-Dry/$100+/ 1 hour 45 minutes: All over or retouch of permanent or semi-permanent color with highlights and a professional style.

Color, Full Highlight, Haircut and Blow-Dry/ $120+/ 2 hours: All over or retouch of permanent or semi-permanent color with highlights including customized haircut and professional style.

​

Color, Partial Highlight and Blow-Dry/ $100+/ 1 hour 45 minutes: All over or retouch of permanent or semi-permanent color with partial highlights covering approximately ½ of the head with professional style.

​

Color, Partial highlight, Haircut and Blow-Dry/$120+/ 2 hours: All over or retouch of permanent or semi-permanent color with partial highlights covering approximately ½ of the head with customized haircut and style.

Hair Highlight and Other

​

Highlight and Blow-Dry/$60+/ 1 and a half hour: Highlight with foils or balayage with customized glazing and professional style.

Highlight and Haircut and Blow-Dry/ $80+/ 2 hours:Highlights with foils or balayage with customized glazing and customized haircut with professional blow-dry.

Haircuts and Other

​

Women’s Haircut and Blow-Dry /$30+/ 45 minutes: A customized haircut designed to fit your individual style and preferences, includes a professional blow-dry and style.

Men’s Haircut/ $20+/ 30 minutes: A customized haircut designed to fit your individual style and preferences.

​

Women’s Blowout/ $27+/ 45 minutes: A shampoo and professional blow-dry style with flat iron or curling styling.

​

Women’s Styling with Flat Iron or Curling Iron/$50/ 1 hour: Professional styling and finishing service using a flat or curling iron; specifically, for formal styles.

​

Conditioning Treatment/ $10/ 15 minutes:A formula that is designed to restore proteins and moisture in the hair. Often the client will wear a cap and be placed under the dryer for 10 minutes to increase the speed of penetration.

Waxing

​

Waxing – Brow Shaping/ $12/ 15 minutes

​

Waxing – Lip and Chin/ $8/ 15 minutes

 

Starting pricing for new guest appointments is noted above and a final price quote for your first visit and all future visits will be provided at your appointment.
